Ingredients
  

Cherry Sauce

  • 2 cups pitted cherries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp cinammon
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup water

Meatballs

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

Cherry Sauce

  • In a medium saucepan, combine all Cherry Sauce ingredients over medium heat.
  • Stir constantly and allow the mixture to boil.
  • Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until sauce thickens.

Meatballs

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a baking dish with melted butter and oil and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, add the ground meat, finely-chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and breadcrumbs.
  • Use hands to mix well and shape meat mixture into small 2-inch balls.
  • Arrange meatballs in a single layer on the greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Turn meatballs occasionally until browned on all sides.
