Energy Date Balls
Super Easy, healthy, no bake and satisfying date bites. Whole ingredients that will put a smile on your face and give you that extra boost of energy you need anytime of the day. Grab one and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
- In the bowl of a food processor, add the pitted dates and pulse until smooth. Add the orange juice, walnuts, cinnamon and chia seeds. Process until the mixture becomes crumbly and sticks together.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and form into small balls using your hands.
- Place the coconut flakes in a flat plate. Roll each date ball in the coconut flakes and arrange them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- Cover and refrigerate for one hour to set if you want to serve immediately. Otherwise, store them in an air tight container for up to one week.
