Lasagna Rolls
A simple and fun twist on a classic Lasagna dish!
Ingredients
- 3 lasagna noodles
- 3 tbsp cream cheese seasoned with garlic powder and oregano
- 6 tbsp marinara sauce
- Fresh spinach chopped
- 6 tbsp shredded mozzarella
- Fresh ground black pepper
- Kosher salt
- Dried oregano
Instructions
- Cook noodles until al dente. Drain and lay flat.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese onto each lasagna noodle.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce on top of cream cheese.
- Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and kosher salt.
- Add the chopped spinach.
- Add 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella to each noodle.
- Tightly roll lasagna noodles. (Optional: Seal ends with pinch of cream cheese)
- Place the 3 lasagna rolls vertically onto baking sheet. Press together so they stay upright while baking.
- Sprinkle some more shredded mozzarella and dried oregano on top.
- Bake until cheese has melted and the rolls begin to take on a golden color (around 15 mins).
- Garnish with chili flakes and basil leaves.
- Serve and enjoy!
